The following 5 steps must be completed before an application is screened!
Step 1 – Tenant Screening Criteria form: Please download the TENANT CRITERIA FORM. The Tenant Screening Criteria Form is an acknowledgment of prospective tenants of our expectations when screening their application giving us permission to run their credit report. Read, initial each page, and sign the last page (signature, email address, and phone number). Please return to the Advanced Property Management office, or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 2- Proof of Identification: One of the following must be provided for each applicants over the age of 18: Driver’s License, State issued photo ID, Military ID, Pass Port. Please return to the Advanced Property Management office, or email it to email@example.com.
Step 3 – Proof of Income: Submit one of the following forms of proof of income for each applicant: paystub, LES form, job acceptance letter, financial aid, W2, etc. Please return to the Advanced Property Management office, or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 4 – Application: Once each applicant has returned Tenant Screening Criteria Form, Proof of Identification and Proof of income, Advanced Property Management staff will send you an application online. There is a $35.00 application fee for each applicant over the age of 18.
Step 5- Security Deposit: The Security deposit (typically equal to 1 months rent) must be paid in full at the time of application. This will secure the property off of the listing market while your application is screened. In the event your application is not approved the security deposit will be returned to you.
